Can anyone ID this rod? It came from an Attarco EW-1812016 engine that the PO got 10 years ago. Yes it's bent & no I didn't bend it. No idea how it happened (must have been hydro-locked before I got it, as the internals look almost new), but I did drive it like that for 20K miles, with no issues! It's strange, as it's like 1/2 way between the HF & the DX/Si rods. It has the DX/SI rod bearing size. The 12 Valve CVCC engine it came out of looks like new & had the original Head Gasket. I remember the PO saying something about the oil filter being different & that I changed out the threaded filter fitting of the block. I think the threads were too big for the proper filter. I can't remember if the cam gear was cast or stamped, as I swapped to a AEM gear way back.

My Dealer '84-'87 CRX parts book shows 3 different rods:

'84 DX3 13210-PE0-660
'84-'87 DX, '85 HF & '85-'87 Si 13210-PE1-000
'86-'87 HF 13210-PE1-720

I never did get the '84-'87 Civic & Wagon parts books & I didn't check with a Dealer to see if this type of rod was maybe used on the Hatchback. I was also wondering if anyone here knows how to ID the non-US engine sub codes (2nd #), or knows of a link. 0 is CA, 5 is 49 state, 9 is High Alt. What about 1,2,3,4,6,7,8? I know this engine is a 1.5, but I'm not sure if it's a EW or an EW-1. I know Honda had a EW-2 & EW-5 engine that we didn't get, but did they have a plain EW type? If 1 is the first # it would make it an '84, but if 8 is the first #, that doesn't make any sense. #3 was '86, then Honda went to the D code in '87. I can post a pic of the Engine # & a pic with few more rods side by side later, it that helps. Thanks
